History & Mission
Our History
STEPS, Inc. was co-founded by Mark and Susan Hooks in February 2010. STEPS wanted to develop and provide missing services that were currently not provided in the River Valley Area, along with providing much needed community support to families. The STEPS, Inc. began offering Supervised Visitation to victims of domestic violence, child abuse and neglect to court ordered families. Currently STEPS offers numerous services and programs for individuals and families in the River Valley and surrounding areas.
Our Mission
The mission of STEPS Family Resource Center is to promote healthy lifestyles and strengthen families in our community by offering Safety, Training, Education, Prevention, that provide Solutions.
